Ben Newhouse, the Hurricane city manager of Putnam country said that the West Virginia Affordable Housing Trust Fund has presented the city of Hurricane, with an amount of $35,700 for the home repairs of the citizens with low to moderate-income. The city of Hurricane will offer a town named Eleanor with $10,000 out of $35,700 grant. Moreover, a non-profit making organization named Rebuilding Together, has donated $15,000 to the REACH Work camps program for the home repairs to take place in the Eleanor area.

M.R. Newhouse also said that the REACH Work camps are going to provide rehabilitation and home repairs for almost 180 Putnam County homes by this summer.
